Support changes everything

The blessing of pregnancy usually calls for joyful celebration. But for those caught in the cycle of poverty, addiction or abuse, pregnancy is an additional challenge that can lead to abandonment and despair.

Since 1976, we’ve been empowering at-risk pregnant women to become confident, capable parents and thriving members of society. By meeting their physical, emotional and spiritual needs, we’re able to stop the cycle and positively impact future generations.

Meet Our Team

Peggy Kerwin

Peggy Kerwin

Executive Director

As executive director, Peggy wears many hats at Solve, managing program services and daily operations, while also working to expand the number of homes, programs and services to meet the needs of pregnant women and teens in our community.

“My heart’s desire is to build up broken women to find their dignity through their Heavenly Father. Bravely they have chosen life for their baby, and joyfully we will meet them where they are and launch both mother and child towards productive living.”

Brian Kerwin

Brian Kerwin

Development

With over 25 years of sales experience, Brian uses his skills to strengthen Solve financially in preparation for growth and expansion. Well-loved around the office, new moms routinely present their newborns to “Mr. Brian” in proud celebration of the new life they’ve been entrusted to care for. He considers this his greatest reward.

“Solve is my call to action and I am blessed to be a part of this life-transforming mission. ‘By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.’ – John 13:35”

Michelle Alt

Michelle Ault

Assistant Director

As a former officer in the United States Army Reserve with a background in administration and a huge heart for Jesus, Michelle carries the responsibility of the day-to-day operations for all of Solve’s residential maternity homes and our client services team. She also oversees licensing requirements so we can carry out our mission with excellence, and works to build resource collaborations to ensure that every resident’s physical, emotional and spiritual needs are met.

“Working at Solve gives me the opportunity not only to help a mom choose life for her unborn child, but also to see lasting changes as she learns about the love and hope that comes from a relationship with Jesus.”

Julie Stull

Julie Stull

Client Services Intake Coordinator

Julie is the first face that a frightened pregnant woman encounters at Solve. Knowing how important first impressions are, Julie brings love, compassion, credibility and a wonderful example of creating a beautiful life no matter how difficult the circumstances. As a young, single mom herself, she knows the struggles and hardships that must be overcome, and now it is her heart to share the love of God with others so that they can come to live in the same freedom.

Ministering to women in crisis is what God has called me to do. Solve has the most beautiful heart to accomplish this through the love of Jesus Christ. It is truly an honor and a blessing to be involved with this team where we can see the hand of God at work every single day.”

Traci Adams

Traci Adams

Case Manager

With a degree in criminal justice and a background in education, Traci works closely with our residents to help them formulate a manageable life plan filled with hope. Her own experience as a young mother has given her insight into the importance of role models and mentorship when helping young moms believe in themselves and accomplish their dreams. She believes that we all need a helping hand while growing through life and her heart is to be that for our residents.

“I love that we can love these ladies like they have never been loved before. We can pour Jesus into them daily and in doing that, change generations.”

Raquel Bierman

Raquel Bierman

Case Manager

Raquel is passionate about leading others into restoration through the gospel of Jesus Christ. She has a background in biblical studies, business administration, Christian ministry and community outreach. Prior to joining the Solve team, she was a program leader for Sidewalk Advocates for Life and co-lead a ministry called Life Collaborative. Raquel has a personal testimony of choosing life, and she uses her own experiences to instill our residents with the confidence they need to have their babies and pursue their dreams.

I’m in awe that God brought me into a role where I get to pull from every aspect of my own journey through unplanned pregnancy and single motherhood. I can meet the women I serve with compassion and understanding, having walked in their shoes. It is my hope that every woman I serve will come into the knowledge that she is loved, and live her life in response!”
